Hand feel, weight, and balance were all vital criteria for these concepts that we could not test and refine via sketches, so we quickly moved into prototyping.
We referenced our concept sketches to model and print physical prototypes. This taught us a lot very quickly as we were able to experience and evaluate the scale, proportion, and forms of each different concept.
From there we took notes on what to keep and change. Then we mocked in the updates using a Dremel to shave off material and clay to add it on to particular areas.
