"Innovation is 50% ideas, 50% alignment." This is what Christian Saclier, Vice President of Design Innovation at PepsiCo said.
From my experience working with innovation teams, I'd have to agree.
š An idea stalls out when it's not understood.
šŖØ An idea stays undeveloped when it's not believed in.
š An idea gets archived when it's not bought into.
Half of an innovator's job is seeking alignment from their team and stakeholders.
